Amenities

From its beginnings, Lake Vista was designed as a residential community with a variety of amenities for the enjoyment of all residents.  For one reasonable monthly fee, our residents enjoy the following amenities at no additional cost:

Full Time Professional Staff

Lake Vista has a full time Association Manager and a Maintenance Superintendent.   These are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  As needed during high work periods, we add temporary workers and use volunteers.  We are fortunate to have these dedicated people.

Lake Vista Centre

In 1992, the Lake Vista Property Owners Association purchased the former sales office.   This building was immediately renamed the Lake Vista Centre and is available for resident functions at no charge.  With its breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge, the Lake Vista Centre has served for many meetings, seminars, weddings and community social gatherings.  One of the early LVPOA projects was to increase the parking at the Centre to accommodate the use of our community center.

Lawn Care

In keeping with the greenbelt design, Lake Vista has almost 25 acres which are maintained as grass meadows.  These green areas lend a peace and tranquility to our community.

Walking Trails

Lake Vista has provisions for anyone who enjoys a walk.  Hutter Lake, our smaller lake, has a paved surface useable year around.  Lake Vista has a walking trail around its entire perimeter.  The Lake Vista trail is clearly marked by green stakes and is mown during the summer months.  By deed, the Lake Vista Property Owners Association owns this trail to the lake.  This assures that this trail will always be a community amenity.

Tennis Courts

For those more athletic, Lake Vista has two hard surfaced tennis courts (refinished in 2001) with a nearby parking area.

Swimming Pool

Lake Vista has a brand new swimming pool adjacent to our Lake Vista Centre with ample parking.  As soon as the sun warms the air, the deck is filled with sun lovers.   We don't wait for the calendar to tell us when to open the pool.  If it is warm, the pool will open.  Likewise our pool will be available until the fall chill arrives.  This unique flexibility comes from our dedicated staff.  When open, the pool is available from 10am to 9pm every day.

Volleyball

Bring your ball, the court is ready.  Near the beach and just beside Lake Vista is our grass Volleyball court.  Come and play.

Lakes

What gives Lake Vista its special attraction are our two Lakes Hutter and Lake Vista.   Fishing, boating or simply enjoying the sun set over the Blue Ridge, a lake is an enjoyment.

Snow Removal  - Trash Collection

Although not glamorous, snow removal and trash collection are two services our residents depend on.  Trash is collected each Monday.  Lake Vista snow removal is noted as one of the best in the area.  From the steps and walkways of the multi family areas to the Lake Vista roads, snow and ice are quickly removed.  Often, it is easier to move about in Lake Vista after a snow storm than it is in the local highways.

Street Lighting

Lake Vista provides street lighting for all roads within Lake Vista.

Security

Lake Vista has a security patrol to assure that our community remains safe and that our amenities are enjoyed by only our residents and accompanied guests.
